===== Depth =====

**Depth** is the measurement from the front to the back of an object/space. In the case of an object or space, depth can be measured.

Depth can also be the //apparent// distance from front to back or near to far in an image. A photograph does not have actual depth as it is a 2D surface, but it can possess the appearance of depth.
