Jewelry Designer/Shop Owner
Beth Millner designs nature inspired eco friendly jewelry in a variety of recycled metals and Michigan gemstones. While in her last year of college, she started displaying at art fairs and teaching silversmithing classes in Marquette, Michigan. In 2007, she also opened an online storefront on Etsy. Beth graduated from NMU with a BFA in metals in 2008 and launched Beth Millner Jewelry in the corner of her kitchen. As her business grew, she was able to take on part time help as well as develop an ecommerce website.
In 2012, Beth opened a storefront in downtown Marquette, Michigan where all the jewelry is handcrafted in the studio space above the retail shop. Depending on the season, Beth employs between three to five staff members, including a full time Operations Manager. She has expanded her jewelry line to include wedding bands in both sterling silver and recycled palladium white gold, as well as offering certified recycled diamonds. Beth has collaborated with many customers over the years to design and fabricate custom pendants, rings and bracelets. Beth has designed 1000’s of pieces of jewelry over the years, including the classic four season tree series and a variety of Upper Peninsula silhouette pieces. Her work can be found in galleries and shops throughout the country and has a strong international retail client base.
